In his book The Orion Mystery Robert Bauval makes a number of good arguments that the Giza Pyramids were somehow connected to Orion. The three stars in Orion's belt perfectly match the alignment of the Pyramids and a number of other construction aspects of the Pyramids show the builders felt Orion was very important. Comet Hale-Bopp will track across Orion during a time when it will be very bright in skies over all of the northern hemisphere. Here's a comparison of the Giza Pyramids and a picture of the three main stars in Orion's belt. In the summer of 1997, a still brilliant Hale-Bopp is predicted to track through Orion above and parallel to these three stars.

Is there a connection between NASA, Giza and Orion? Well, check out this original Apollo program patch. They even got the three belt stars offset just right! Is it just a coincidence that during the Apollo program the control center for the space program was moved to near Houston? Both the Johnson Space Center in Houston (actually outside Houston in Clear Lake, Texas) and the Giza Pyramids are nearly on the same line of latitude - 30 degrees north.

Astronomer Richard C. Hoagland, who believes NASA has been well aware of many ancient secrets including extremely old ruins on Mars and the moon, says the actual Apollo landings were timed to alignments of Orion. On every manned lunar landing, Orion was in a significant position in the lunar sky. He even claims the first two men on the moon, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, held a mystic ritual 33 minutes after landing on the moon involving the consumption of wine. Some believe this amounted to the establishment of a temple to Orion on the moon on July 20, 1969.

Still stranger. In the summer of '94, comet chunks from comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 crashed into Jupiter. Estimates are that events like this happen every 100 thousand years or so. Was this a natural event or a message? The Jupiter comet crash happened over a six day period but the largest chunk of the comet struck Jupiter on July 20th, 1994 - 25 years to the day after the first Apollo landing!

When Art Bell read my fax to Richard Hoagland about the above mentioned 25 year "coincidence" of two of the biggest events in recent solar system history (the manned lunar landing and Shoemaker-Levy 9) Richard's response was, "no comment...(laughter)...well, Art, as Dorothy said to Toto, 'I don't think we're in Kansas anymore'."

I really think 'someone' controlling comets is trying to send us a message.

Some JFK conspiracy buffs point out the Masonic numerology connection to that fateful day in Dallas. Followers of the 'secret' knowledge love to use the number 33, or combinations of 11 and 22 which add up to 33. Dallas is on the 33rd degree of latitude and Kennedy was killed on 11-22, which of course add up to 33. (Don't get on Uncle Fred's case if he's a member or even the leader of a 'lodge.' Those guys have been kept 'out of the loop' for centuries.)

Consider this: Roswell, New Mexico where a UFO allegedly crashed in July of 1947 is also on the 33rd degree of latitude. If you add 22 years to July 1947, you get July of 1969 - the date of the Apollo 11 moon landing! And NASA had to 'skip' Apollo 2 through 6 to get the numbers to come out right so 11 would land on the moon. The really really amazing thing is that in 1969, few people except those who knew the big secrets knew about Roswell.

If you then add another 22 years to the lunar landing, you get July of 1991. The year of the 'final' eclipse predicted for the 'current' Mayan calendar. Hey, those Mayan guys were really smart - there was an eclipse in Mexico City in July of 1991! The eclipse tracked right through the huge 'Sun' and 'Moon' pyramids near Mexico City. Didn't the Mayan's mention something about really smart guys coming back then? Wonder where those smart Mayans went to?

Hey, didn't 1991 begin a wave of UFO sightings in and near Mexico City that continue to this day???

I wonder if there's a connection? Well, I'm sure if there is those nice people in power will tell us all about it.
